I have a T-shirt I bought years ago at Uwajimaya supermarket in the Asian section of town. It says "Sumo Weight Watchers" and "Tokyo Dieters Association;" it has a drawing of a sumo wrestler on the back, with the motto: "Go for it." On the front is a logo which looks like a WWII buck-toothed caricature of an enemy "Jap" (but a friendly smiling one), and I think it included the word Nissei (the term used for children of Japanese immigrants in the US).
