if it is something that you have to bid on, that is probably just a starting price to get attention to the product so that it gets the most traffic therefore the most bids and eventually, by the time bidding ends the price will be around the normal retial price

Well hard to know if we can't see exactly what you're talking about, but I doubt anyone is selling working ipods for a dollar. Check their past selling history and see if they have negative responses, usually a good way to tell if they're a good seller.

Is that just the STARTing price?.. it will jump up a LOT before it is over... and you do need to read the fine print.. shipping.. etc.
