It is the money sign for England. It is for the pounds. I would tell you what they equal into US money, but I don't remember. Don't ever go to London, though. They don't know what a smile is, and when I was there a pigeon flew into a window, cracked its head and fell to the ground, dead. The whole city is mad. It is normal to walk down a street with people knifing others. Go someplace cool like Italy or Wales or the Bahamas or something.
