winter is in full force in wisconsin. ive only been driving a few months and winter driving scares me as this is my first winter driving. my pregnant sister asked me to take her home. the roads are bad and the people are still driving like mad. i told her that its too bad outside and could she ask my mother or my uncle to give her a lift.she thinks that my mom is going to tell her no so shes reluctant to ask but im scared to death, and its getting worse. i dont want to risk getting in an accident and its getting dark outside.

i dont know why she decided to go over my aunts house but seriously i have problems with driving in the snow. unless i have to, it took me 30 minutes to get home from work when it usually takes 10-15. either my mom takes her or she stays the night over there. i cant chance it. she should have really stayed home unless she had to get out for a reason. she doenst drive.

I WOULD JUST TELL HER THAT YOU FEEL UNSAFE TAKING HER HOME CONSIDERING YOU HAVEN'T BEEN DRIVING THAT LONG , JUST TELL HER YOUR SCARED TO PUT HER AND HER BABY IN DANGER . HOPEFULLY SHE'LL UNDERSTAND

Well, by the time you decide you're gonna take her home it's gonna be dark (smile). Most people will be at home if you wait a little while longer. Right now everyones coming home from work. So the streets will be clearer. Does she have a boyfriend that can come pick her up? Maybe she can just stay the night. It's suppose to taper off by midnight. Then you can take her home early in the morning.

NO. People and children are being sent home early and told to stay off the roads. It's real simple today. No driving for anyone.

That's was a good decision you made, you don't want to get your pregnant sister into a accident. You are really good person who thinks about another persons life.

I don't think you were wrong, but you should let her know why you don't want to give her a ride that should make her more understanding and keep her from getting angry I would think

be cool...

DON'T DO IT! You are obviously being logical about the situation and she is not. So just stick to your answer, it's too risky!
