Elizabeth Ann for a girl and Aiden Matthew for a boy... My husband likes Serinity Eve Or Kailey Jade, but Ithink they are tooooo much... He likes Aiden Matthew and he kinda like Elizabeth Ann, but he isn't much help because I don't like the names he does, and he named our son, so I get to name this one.... I wish he was more into it, but he won't budge on his choice in names.... So those are what I have so far.... I also like Avery Elizabeth... The reason I like Elizabeth is because it will be a namesake, and I love the name Ella, and so I figured that could be her nickname.... (but then again my hubby likes the nickname Liz) What do you all think?????

I agree that Serinity Eve does sound like a douche... that is why I don't like it at all... The reason for Matthew is my hubby's name is Matthew Ryan... and Our sons name is Ryan.. So we would be continuing the trend... naming after daddy... :) As far as Ann yes I know it is plain but it is my middle name, and that is what I was going for but that is why I like Avery Elizabeth too though, because my hubby's mom's middle name is Elizabeth... So I wouldn't have to use Ann, but Seeing as how Ryan was used last time, I just felt like I could pass mine on...... But it is really common and plain!!!!

I really like Aiden Matthew. I don't like your husband's choices either. I don't know why...they just are kinda out there. Serenity Eve reminds me of a douche commerical (I'm so sorry :( Just trying to be honest). Kaily Jade is better but looks like it's spelled wrong or should be Kelly.
I really like Elizabeth Ann! I think you could call her Ella. And, when she's older she still has her full name for a more professional life rather than stuck with a childish name.
Avery is cute. But, for me it's a little too unisex. I loved Skylar when it first came out. I was going to name my son that...but gradually it went from unisex to feminine...I have a feeling that's where Avery's heading.
PS: Please, don't let him use Liz!!

I think the names your husband picked are beautiful names.
Elizabeth Ann...not really my style, too common.
Aiden Matthew is alright, I like the name Aiden.
The name Avery Elizabeth is good.
I agree with you on the Ella thing and I'm not to fond of Liz.

I would stay away from Aiden because this is the number one boy name in the country right now, unless you want him to go to school with the same name as everyone else. Also Ella is really popular right now so i would avoid it as well. I would go with Elizabeth Ann, classic and not funky so no weird looks or your kid killing you later in life. Plus you can use nick names always a plus

elizabeth is a pretty safe, traditional name... you could call her 'ella', and daddy could call her 'liz', it seems simple enough. i think ann is kind of a plain middle name, elizabeth avery sounds nice though
if it's a boy, that's a really neat name and it seems like you both like it
