You could start off with the following statement:
" I have been there, done that and wore the T-shirt", this is one of the most popular t-shirt slogans around today.
Then continue with whatever after that.
Tips.
*Discuss T-shirts slogans, why people might wear them, what they may say about the character of the person wearing them.
* Give several examples of several people, what they have on their t-shirt and why. Explain the meanings of the slogans etc.
* Go on to the good business people make selling such t-shirts and how they can be customized.
* You could names some places where people might wear them and and at what events they might wear them.
* State ones you like to wear too.
* End with a brief summary of the above.

The way I feel at this moment, I think I would look into ridiculous information or information displayed in a ridiculous fashion.
One example: I have a automobile sun shield. It is cardboard and it is designed to protect the dashboard from sunlight damage. It has a disclaimer on it, "Remove before Driving". I have seen Braille on a drive up ATM. I have seen a Braille sign, under glass.
Ask the users of YA's for their favorite items of this nature, then do some research and start writing.

Write a paper on the American flag sewed onto clothing. Back in the 60's there was people getting arrested for that and some states considered it illegal .
Now it is pretty common so put the American flag on jakcets,clothing,t shirts etc.
I would research that for my paper.
