Ok so i thought i was pregnant but then today i started heavily bleeding and having horrible cramps in my leg (what i usually get with a period but alot worst this time) ive been in more pain than ive ever been in with any other period and im afraid to use a tampon incase this is a miscarriage. i know during pregnancy you shouldnt take advil but its all i had in the house and i NEEDED something, the pain has decreased to the point where i can accually walk normal now, but ive become very tired and am still bleeding...maybe this is just my period coming a few days late due to stress??

wavelength is completely right....Ive had 4 miscarriages and they all happened really early on so I didnt have huge blood clots...I did have clotting but they werent large clots. You say you thought you were pregnant...did you take a test to confirm it? I'd say call your doctor....you can even speak to a nurse, tell her what you just told us and she can say whether or not you need to go in.

Did you actually get confirmation you were pregnant, by EPT, blood test, ultrasound, etc.? If you're only days late, you may not be, and if you miscarry before your first missed period, you wouldn't even know it, as the baby is smaller than the average blood clot.
If you're still worried, call the doctor, and by all means use a pad. It'll only catch what has already come out. You'd have something for the doctor to test that way too. Not a tampon though, as you may injure the already endangered fetus.

Go to the ER you may be having a miscarriage. If your not then it's better to be safe than sorry. At least you will know. Don't use tampons until you find out for sure

Did you get confirmation by ultrasound that you were infact pregnant? Sounds like a normal period to me. You'd have passed a gigantic clot before you started bleeding severely if it was miscarriage.

Call your doctor immediately. If you are having a miscarriage, there are several risk factors that they need to handle including infection.

DO NOT USE any kind of normal period material, like pads/tampons.
Get to the hospital, this is what happened to me, and I was in the hospital for hours.......
Get some help from doc and HURRY........... you may be having a viscarriage.
