yes if i am logged on with my password and i am on the net or just looking through "my documents" and i was just to stop touching any keys, within less than 2 minutes it has went back to the log in screen and i have to retype my long password again!!. it is really pissing me off

your problem is most likely the screen saver is set to go on after 2 min its very easy to change if you have windows xp just follow these steps:
click on the start button then go to control panel
click on apperance and theme then click on display
click on the screen saver tab
then you can change how much time before the screen saver comes on, and you can also uncheck the box that say's "on resume, display windows welcome screen" which will make it so that you dont have to type the password after screen saver comes on.
