When you see a girl "showing her stuff" in a pic, does that make you automatically think she's probably got an ugly face?
I always think that if a girl is showing just cleavage or legs or whatever (Skin), she's compensating for her ugly mug.

It honestly makes me think that it's not their real picture.
People probably use fake pics for many reasons. Firstly, to keep their sense of "privacy." Probably also because they don't think their pretty and want to connect with people who see them differently than what they see themselves.

Not necessarily. I do think it means she want some attention and it may not even be "her stuff".

maybe she has no teeth or she has facial hair and lots of acne.
