it's a toss up between FOOTBALL and NASCAR, and since FOOTBALL is way shorter of a season then NASCAR is, I'd have to say #1 most watched in america is NASCAR, even though I HATE NASCAR more than any sport, and think it's the most boring as hell sport to ever watch just cars drivin round in a circle 500 times, people down south love the sport so much and have a huge chain of fans down there and some up here in Michigan

for sure its football. But when it comes to the most watched sport in the world it is easily soccer. 93 billion people watched the Superbowl 2 years ago. But 3.4 Billion people watched the world cup last year only.
