I'd like to find a monologue that somewhat fits the idea of the film I'm auditioning for. I'm auditioning for a sociopath's love interest, though obviously she doesn't know he's a sociopath. She has a unique view of how the world works, and how people interact/behave. She's eccentric, optimistic, friendly, and has a fun side to her. She is a firm believer that people shouldn't sweat the small things, and people should enjoy life for what it is.

So...Any ideas as to what films have a character that matches this description? Or even better...any monologue ideas?
****DO NOT SUGGEST MONOLOGUE SITES, I'VE ALREADY SEEN THEM. I WANT SOME SUGGESTIONS AS TO WHAT MONOLOGUE I SHOULD DO, NOT WHERE TO FIND THEM.

If you don't mind adapting monologues from books. Marie from "The Outsider" is that same person in almost the same situation. She doesn't have much dialogue, but I'm sure you could write something up for her. Anyway, just a suggestion, I liked "The Fantasticks" idea.

One that you might enjoy is Lusia's monologue from "The Fantasticks". It's at the beginning of Act One. The show is a stage musical, though it has been filmed as well. Luisa is a 16-year-old, which may not be ideal for your intended character, but she does have the eccentric and fun personality that you've described.

Anything from the Vagina Monologues should be good. Most casting directors LOVE vaginas.
