If her whole life she was called Gracie, then I don't see why they would call her Grace unless she suggested it. I love your name, If I were having a girl she'd be Gracie Lynn, or Delaney Grace, but I'm having a little boy :) but I understand what you mean
Lots of luck to you!

She will be called Grace and Gracie and Gracie-Lee and Lee. There are all kinds of variations possible. Why not name her Grace and call her by the nickname, Gracie? That way when she gets older she'll have the choice.

This decission is totally up to you. I think that Gracie-Lee is somewhat outdated and you need a more modern name. I am sorry I just don't think it's cute. As for Grace to me that's more of a middle name than a first name. I think it would be cool to name her Aprilis,it's not very popular name(that I know of) yet it's a very BEAUTIFUL name. However,I am not the one naming this child and I'm not the one who has to worry about it.

Gracie-lee sounds like a baby born to a couple living in a trailor...
I mean it's cute an all, but you're absolutely right. She'll be called Gracie when she's in school and Grace as an adult.

How about Avery Grace... and you could nickname her Gracie (and call her Gracie Lee for her personal nickname...)

I really am not fond of the name. How about Gracilllea? I really cannot think of any names that wont' be shortened to GRACE, but I really do think Grace is a BEAUTIFUL name.

Sorry I really dont like Grace for a first name it reminds me of an old lady. How about Ava, Savanah, Samantha, Jaden, Lexi, or something a litlle more modern.

I think Gracie is a cute name, but if you don't like the shortened version it's probably a good idea to avoid the name. This is your daughter, so it shouldn't matter what we think! Good luck!!
