if buying imported Nintendo DS games which have uk versions available but cheaper, do these have english instructions and if so, which are the best sites to buy from,and if these games are NTSC and therefore better than the uk pal versions

The NTSC games are not better than the PAL versions, they're identical, the only differences usually is the packaging.

Most of the time the games we get are direct clones of the US version, hence the incorrect spelling of certain words.

But for prices, it depends, I picked up Metroid Prime Pinball with the Rumble Pak, new and sealed, on eBay for £14.99.

All NTSC and PAL is, (in lamens terms), is how the image and TV are refreshed, there hasn't been any major difference since EU sets started supporting in 60hz anyhow, and the Nintendo DS only refreshes at 30fps.

Nintendo DS is region free, i bought my son a navy blue one (not released here till April this year), from japan, I got a great bargain on eBay, works a treat, 2 week delivery, have had no problems. Hope this helps.

try ebay for bargins,brought my wife loads import games and they work fine.....
