To put a centered heading over existing columns:

Place your cursor at the start of the text in the first column.
Click on the Insert menu and choose Break - click on Continuous and click Ok.
Move your cursor up above the text into the empty line created.
Click on Format and choose Columns, click on One and click Ok.
Type your heading and you will be able to center it over the two columns.
Press Return if you want to create extra empty lines between it and the text.

What you will need to do is create some space at the top of your first column (by pressing enter at the beginning...then you will need to select some of the empty space above that column...switch that area to 1 column...then click on Center....it will automatically shift the second column down to accommodate the title.

Hope this helps....

Start with a blank page.
Type your title and then centre it.
Hit return a few times, then type/paste your text.
Highlight the text (but not the title) and click on:
Format/Columns and select 2 columns.

Hope that helps.

Hi,bar474744
the easiest way you can do it by, make a text from the drawing bar and just correct it`s format to be on top of the other word in the page and drag it ot the top of the page and change format again to be in the center of the page

You have to add a row above the 2 columns and merge those two cells, then center.
Table > insert > Row above.

Then highlight those cells > right-click > merge
