I agree with you 100% - it's high time we learned that when we commit to war, its the generals in the field who should run the show - not the politicians on Capital Hill.
Presently we are fighting the war on two fronts - the terror front in Iraq and Afghanistan and the pacifist, liberal front in America.
We must stop treating war as a pawn in some imaginary political power struggle and start fighting either with the resolve and intention of soundly defeating the enemy - or we should get the hell out.
If we default on our commitments to the Iraqi people and fail in our efforts to stabilize this region - we will deserve the consequences that will inevitable follow in the future.

If we fail in Iraq, the sleeper terrorist cells that are training in America will awake and feel embolden and this country will be the next Israel. We are not fighting to win because the war is being run by politicians who put their Re-election above the saftey and what is best for this country. WAKE UP AMERICA. It is time to take back this country, FOR the people BY the people.

After what happened in Vietnam, the draft is political suicide. Anybody who votes for such a proposal would likely be voted out of office the next chance the voters got. And without Congress voting for it, GWB can't get the draft reinstated.

But almost no one wants the draft...it won't happen anyway. I just wish he would understand that "terrorism" has been going on in the middle east since the beginning of time. It won't end by any of our actions.

Don't even expect to debate upon any premise that BUSH made.
He is a liar.
There can nevr be a winner in war other than thoise who profit from it...
For instance, Halliburton, Carlyle and all the rest of them...
