It is hard to say. Most driving website will still take you through areas of construction and even possibly streets that do not exist anymore. However, my favorite is Google.com/maps. It is my favorite because it is VERY easy to use. Unlike Mapquest, that will give you hassle about the address, Google, easily recognizes address.
The map layout is very clear and like most sites now you can view a graphic map, a satellite image or a combination of both. A new feature is that you can add multiple destinations, which have come in handy for me.
Navigating the map is easy with the cardinal directions and the zoom feature.
You also have the choice of emailing, printing or creating the link of the direction and map you created.
It has never made me go in a huge circle or taken me the wrong way, so my vote is for Google.

Get to the Kennedy "90" East and stay on it until it turns into the Dan Ryan expressway, stay straight until you see an exit for around 87th street. If there isn't one there get off at 85th or around there, but the middle of the expressway only lets you off once in a while so read the signs and go to the right section of the expressway at least 5 miles before exiting Good luck! Tip you can use map quest to just look at the map without directions too if you don;t trust them.

I usually use Mapquest or Yahoo, but Mapquest usually makes it the longer or more difficult way to get from one place to another.

google maps is awesome. Allows you to either see the route your going to and with the satalite images you can see the actual building that you are going to...helpful in the city to find a parking garage and know how far of a walk it would be.
