Us Americans take it as fact that justice and fair treatment go hand and hand , but as soon as it is you in the middle of needing justice you soon find that the law can go in any direction as long as their is enough money to pull it that way, every one answers to a bigger boss, and like this or not, its a fact it has happened to me and if you check around you may be shocked at what you find out about this fair and balanced justice system you dream about, their simply is no fairness unless it is such a big case that the public is watching very closely as well and maybe you could see fairness, just look at OJ simpson how did that go?money and power are ruler in this country.

The same as it is now. There is no real equal justice for all. Only the ones who can afford a high priced, well known lawyer get justice. All others take their chances with a court appointed lawyer. If a court appointed lawyer gets a high profile case, it can make his career, he will work his socks off, if he gets something that is somewhat of a drag, he will make an effort, but not give it his all.

It is a nice concept in theory, but it is not the reality in which we live. Don't get me wrong, I think our legal system is one of the best in the world, but it is flawed and hardly equal. You get what you pay for. I realize this is not fair, and I am not a lib. One need to look no further than the cases against stars such as OJ or Jackson to see that a lot of money can get you off. Do you think that they would have walked with a public defender that is overworked and underpaid?

Just watch the libs. They make it unequal every chance they get.
