Well, the Americans have taken them off the "List"!
Because the n. koreans have agreed to shut down their reactor in exchange for fuel.
So they aren't "Evil" anymore?

Possibly the fact that "someone" (probably China) has got them to agree that they don't need nuclear weapons. WMDs and power hungry short dudes without any checks or balances(Napolean ... Hilter ... Stalin ... 'Mr. Lonely' of N Korea) make us nervous. Most Americans also have no problem calling it as we see it. We argue amongst ourselves over this, but it is part of our Constitution.

They scare the sh,it out of Bush thats what changed.
They won't do as America tells them, which confuses the Arrogant yanks for a start, and they've worked out that they're better off sticking with the countries that they know really haven't got WMD, rather than the ones that like to prove that they have.

Nothing but the military readiness of North Korea which is vastly superior to that of Iraq may have something to do with it. The Americans have a reputation of not liking somebody who stands up against them.
