You can stop your eyeliner from smudging by using a waterproof kind, because its formulated to stay put. Try it, it really helps! Also liquid liner is quite good at staying still. If your eyeliner does smudge, carry a little bottle of eye make up remover and some kleenexes, dab a little on the kleenex and quickly wipe it over the smudges. It will get rid of it but still should keep the rest of the liner put if you do it right.

Have you tried liquid eyeliner? Boots no7 do a great liquid eyeliner which always looks crisp and neat even if you rub your eyes by accident :)
If you prefer a pencil, try keeping the pencil in the fridge so it goes on neatly and sharply. When you've put the eyeliner on, before you put on mascara, sweep on a tiny bit of face powder with a large brush to set it. Then apply mascara. Hope it helps :)

I had that problem for years. I finally solved it. Go buy MAC eye liner. It is called "engraved power point eye pencil" which comes in many colour. The stores are only in big cities but you can find Mac Cosmetic on the net too. The cost is about $20.00 a pencil. You need a pencil sharpener too around $10.00 All their products are really good but expensive. You can go swimming and it won't come off. you need oil base remover to remove it. You can buy the remover at Walmart to cut cost.

Try using the new gel eyeliners that they have out now.
Mine is from Bobbi Brown and will definately not come off/smudge!! Make sure you have a good eye make-up remover!!

Try puting foundation around your face and eyes, put your eyeliner on and dab it with powder puff afterward to keep it in place.... Beauticians also say that if you use a hairdrier for a few seconds on your face after applying make-up it will last longer...works 4 me.... good luck:)

Before you apply it, make sure the area is clean and dry. Apply some pressed powder on the area you'll be applying the liner. (On the top lid, eyeshadow is ok.)
After you've applied it, put a little more pressed powder just under the liner.
Works for me.

Dust some translucent powder under your eyes over your foundation or concealer before putting on your eyeliner.

Spread a powder foundation across each eye before applying your eyeliner. I have oily skin, and this helps me.

Benefit's product called She Laq is great. Makes it waterproof. Also, use a high end liner instead. Go to Sephora and just play with them and see which one works best for you. Liquid liners don't move as much so you might try one of these.
