biology is technically the study of life.

you learn a lot about cells, how they work, organelles.

you also learn a lot about plants their reactions during photosynthesis, and trust me, it's way more than "sunlight + water = oxygen." uh uh.

it also covers a lot about evolution and how the classifications work. some of the classifcation types are even based on evolution.

there is also ecology that uses some of the other areas to place and catagorize organisms.

chromosomes, genetics, and cell reproduction are also a big section. you cover a lot of Punnet squares and such.

there is also a section on human biology but you may not study that (it depends on the class).

hope i helped!

Biology in high school will cover such topics as cell anatomy, genetics, DNA/RNA, a little bit of evolution, operating simple lab equipment (microscopes, petri dishes, etc.), habitats and ecosystems...

That's all I can remember.
