I have subbed for a few years in local school districts and I need to update and resend out my resumes. Last year, I actually drove all around to hand deliver them, but I'm not sure that it made that big of a difference. Can I just mail them to the districts or do they frown on that?

If they accept mail, then mail it. To make it saver, you can post it in register mail.

All that matters is (what) you have included in those Resumes...

(How appealing & attractive) is the second worry.....

Degree of effect / appeal on addressee comes next...

(Vacancies) where you presented them is your next worry...

It doesn't really matter HOW you deliver it more than WHEN & WHERE...

In general, if it was an advertised position, it is better to Mail it, since you would seem like approaching with Negative Aggression if you take it in person or hand deliver it....

But if it a vacancy that you came to know of by a referred lead, then it would sound better that you take it by hand; provided you secure an appointment first...

This way, you will be regarded as a Positively Agressive Person who ensures relevant resumes fell into the right hands, and is doing it accurately & punctually.

Going straight by yourself will make you seem & sound like a soliciter....especially if you go without an appointment.

No, do no longer mail them till informed to. I dont even trust that you need to e-mail them. once you bypass right into a organization on your head tell your self you want the interest and now its yours. do no longer basically drop off a resume ask to speak with the manager and in the adventure that they don't look there ask to speak with the subsequent individual in cost. once you meet them shake their hand and smile! to keep time you need to call first to make certain if the organization is even hiring! also ask once you would listen again and in case you dont listen some thing call the organization and ask why you've been no longer chosen (you've the right to attraction to close) or call and remind them about your resume! solid success Be positive you need to do it! As an education major, I would send the resumes in a large brown envelope. Then, after a week, I would do a follow up with HR to see if they got it. I worked in daycare, and I once took my application in along with a resume and it got "lost". I think whoever I gave it to lost it on puropse. People are haters when it comes to education...

I would hand deliver it. I hand-delivered mine, and the next thing I knew I was in the office with the principal having an unofficial interview. Next thing I knew, I was back for an official interview and got hired.

This was over the summer, when obviously they have more time.

Good Luck!!!

In person always leaves a better impression IF you can get to the Principal or whoever hires the teachers. But in the end they still prefer the high G.P.A.

Call them and ask. All are different and they probably have their own application form.
