scooter carburetor upgrades?

Question

I want to add several upgrades to my scooter from air filter to exhaust but my main question is about the carburetor i know if i get a bigger one it means more air and gas mixture, but would I also need to add a bigger main jet to the carb as well?

depending on all that you do........but generally no......unless it seem,s to lean out at high r,p,m...........you can tell if your exhaust pipe start,s to yellow out.....or turn cherry red.
