poofs have limp wrists and the pronounce the letter S a lot more than normal folk, lesbians are just downright cool

They lost faith in the opposite sex? Not sure really, some claim to be born that way.
I think it may actually be a mental disorder of some type.
It brings to mind those old cartoons where for say...a character is hypnotized into believing they are a chicken and are temporarily mentally impaired in that mannor.Only....this isn't usually temporary.
Anywho, is just a guess, not trying to insult anyone...forgive me if I have?

I personally think it has to do with testosterone/estrogen production during puberty. Men with too little testosterone production during these years will show feminine qualities and women with too high testosterone production will show masculine signs. Possibly it's not the only reason but I'm sure it's a key factor.

I think they're born so. Many animal species have homosexuality. Looking at it from a biological perspective, perhaps it's a built-in way species use to control populations.
