It seems like no matter what: trades, new coaches, free agents, this team is doomed to failure. Why???

I KNOW!!!!!!!!. i've always thought this could be the case throughout the years, but after getting nellie and the trade i believe in a warriors curse even more. i feel you man. some games everyone just cant get it going from start to finish. others, its like they play well the first half and then once they come back out from the locker room to play the second half they automatically lose momentum and energy... not just one or two players, but EVERYONE! the whole team starts deteriorating in the 3rd quarter and i have no idea why. it happens in almost every single game they play and im convinced its because of a curse too. =(

*sigh* i love my warriors and always will so it kills me to see the team like this...

I certainly hope not...the last time they won a title my neighbors cousin George Johnson and Rick Barry played for the team...all through the years after poor seasons the Warriors would field very talented teams after high draft picks...for a long time the joke was , if you played at and left Golden State...youre ready for superstardom...the list of ex warrior all stars reads like a whos who in basketball the last 25 years...amazing...

I've wondered this myself, seems like every year they're supposed to be on the rise but never make it over that hump. I think Baron Davis needs to be dumped, guy is hurt every year and he's never been a leader on a good team. They invested way too much in players like Dunleavy and Richardson but I think they've got some quality young talent though with Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins, and Pietrus. Harrington seems to fit in well over there so far, but in the offseason they need to sign some vets to provide some experience and leadership, I see that team fall out of games way too often from losing focus.

I don't think they're curse but they certainly haven't had the best over the years have they. The past two season started off with such promise then all of a sudden they're 10th seed. I agree with b that Baron Davis has to go. He's a good guard but his constant injuries are a problem.
