how long do a 100 gallon tank last ???

It depends on what you are using it for. As fuel in a vehicle I got considerably worse mileage than with gas when using it on a farm truck. It became much more expensive than gas and I scrapped the idea. (Mileage dropped by 30+%)

It depends on how many space heaters, how big your heating unit is, and how cold it is outside. My experience is that (and I have four propane space heaters with a well insulated house) 100 gallons will last about 10 days of continuous burning. If you practice conservation by only heating portions of the house that you need to heat and trimming the heaters while you are gone, you can stretch it to about 15-20 days. If you are in a really cold region, I would estimate about 10 days.

Depends on how often you use the stove or how often you're heater kicks on.The best thing to do is to have a small spare tank to hook up when you're big tank runs out.This will give you some time to get the big tank refiled.

Turned off, and never used, it would last forever. What is hooked to it, what does it draw, and how many hours a day does it run?
