I need help getting past the octopus level in GOLDEN EYE ROGUE AGENT for ps2.?

I'm not sure if it's a scratch on the disc or if I cannot figure the room out, but I'm to the level that starts out "welcome to the octopus". I'm am in the room with all the gun displays. I kill all the guys and blow up the gun on the wall, but I cannot figure out how to get to the other side of the bolcony to continue on. Can anyone help me out??

there's a panel either beside the gap or on the other side. target it and hack into it to activate the bridge that you'll use to get to the other side.
