I think it depends what the question is and what the topic is about. I love having a view of most things and having a say. Dont like it when some answers are hurtful, no need at all. This is like having a load of mates to talk too. Bedtime soon though. Have a nice Valentines day.

it depends on the types of answers he/she gives as well as the questions they choose to answer, well that's how i see it. questions such as what is your favourite film, film star, song, celebrity, food may often reveal a lot about the type of person he/she is. having said that though, even though there are a lot of nice people on here you do get the odd couple who have to spoil it for the rest of us. another issue is the fact that there is a huge difference between meeting someone or people online and coming across them in the flesh, as they are not the same thing

their ans tell the age background and views
some even tell their location and i'm sure some tell far too much
even their avatars are a representation of how they look!
and you can be sure yahoo are using ALL this info
looking at peoples ans it is often easy to see who is married, or have kids and the life they lead
HEY debi you say they dont get detailed info but you say
"Stoke on Trent , England
In an armchair"
Desktop pc ( but it's under the desk !!)

is it true?
if so too much personal info I think!! lol

There are some palm readers who knows the character with out seeing the person. They can say about their health and future too. They can tell by hand writing and the answers they give over the typed letters. I did meet one astrologer in India to whom I asked about a Jewish friend in New york. he asked his name I told him. He said most of his health problems and what type of person. And his future too.

So, there are people out there who may know the character of someone by reading their answers.

Oh my,
scary thought - perhaps I should go and hide ?
Seriously though, I don't think you could really get a detailed profile of someone that way however many of their answers you analyzed as all you get is one tiny facet of who they really are. Your on-line personna is different from your actual public personna as the stress of eye contact and body language is completely absent.
That's part of what makes chat rooms dangerous places for kids.

u can't tell the character of people by reading the answers. the only way u tell is when u meet people face to face and spend time with them. on this site, a man can pretend to be a woman and vice versa.

u don't get to really know anyone through the answers that they post. like everything else on the internet, you can't believe everything that's posted. you can find out some information about a person, but that doesn't mean that you "know" them.
