Have a basket when I enter the house. Toss them there as I enter and they are there when I leave again. At work or if I'm out, always in the pocket.

I never have that problem. The first thing I do when I come into the house after a drive is empty my pockets, and I always put the keys in the same place.

Yes! I have got around it by having a ton of copies of my car keys. One on the key hook, one in my purse, one with the hubby, one in my desk at work, one with my sister in case I lock them in, a card key in my wallet for emergency, and a spare in the safe. It's a little much, but for me that's what it takes!

Then train yourself to put them in ONE location and ONE location only. This is a problem of discipline not forgetfulness.
