omg my town has a torndo watch. i just moved here n never expericed tehm b4. what do i do?

You're somewhere around SC aren't you? Don't worry. A watch just means they're possible. A strong thunderstorm front is coming through. There will be heavy rain, strong wind, and lightning. Unplug any electronics that may be damaged by power surges. Stay inside when the storm approaches. Stay away from windows (not really a big deal). Listen to the radio/tv for weather updates.
A warning means either one was spotted or doplar radar reports a signature formation which could be one. Move to a basement or an interior room on the ground floor with no windows...usually a bathroom. Have a lightsource, a good book, a drink, a snack, and a phone handy. They usually blow over in about an hour or so. Enjoy. Welcome to the region!

frequently i are not getting excited over watches. I not often get excited over warnings via fact quite some the time they pass over us. although, Monday evening we had a tornado warning and city blew the sirens. I have been given some cool photographs earlier i found out it became heading our way.

a watch just means be prepared if they issue a warning you should move to the lowest floor of your house and into a central room away from windows. (bathroom is best if it fits the description) if you have a battery operated radio have it with you and tuned to a station that will give you weather updates so you know when it is safe to come out. most of all remember not to panic.

It's just a watch. They aren't that serious. Now, when it gets to a warning, you need to take cover. And I HOPE you know what to do when protecting yourself from a tornado.

i live in Tennessee and their are thunder storms moving in from Nashville.maybe a bumpy night.
