Is this true? My mom keeps telling me but im note sure..I want to have a band or a dj in my backyard for my 15th birthday party in March.

Really depends on where you live and local code. Best bet, call city hall and ask before you have them there or the cops will show up because of lame neighbors.

You don't need a permit, but know your neighborhood. I've been kicked outta too many backyard parties cuz the neighbors are not friendly when it comes to loud parties. If your neighbors are ok with it, you should be fine. Just try to rap it up by 11 or so. That might sound early but its better than getting the cops called on you every 5 minutes.

yeah probally if u live in the city.
if u live outside the city limits then ur okay.
