No. Being an athletic female doesn't make you a tomboy, especially now that most sports are really no longer as exclusively male activities.

I think not playing sports has all the potential of making you
a fat, couch potato. Strenuous activity, such as sports, played
when you are young, help develop muscle and organs (heart)
that will repay you with a more fit bode and longer life when you
get older. Playin sports does not make you a tomboy. Playin
sports makes you a healthy person with an appreciation of
rules, responsibilities and a kinship with others. Do your thing Hon!

no. i love playing all sorts of sports too, even the ones that you dont generally see girls playing like football... and im a very competitive person. but i also like getting my nails done, putting on makeup and hanging out with the girls, shopping, talking about guys, and all that other "girly" stuff too. like me, it just means you're a well-rounded girl not a tomboy.

No. Tomboy is a girl who behaves in a boyish manner i.e dressing like a boy, acting like a boy, trying to talk like a boy, etc.

no . I kinda think that it makes them more attractive .
A lot of girls play sports . don't listen to what anyone has to say I bet
they are just jealous.
My teacher told me that when he went to Texas , he learned that there used to be a women's league in football , he even met this japanese woman who played.

NO WAY I say. I played the same two sports and don't see anything wrong with it. Just be yourself.
