No I don’t live in an island. I never thought that UK was an island although I know it’s surrounded by water until one day I heard on TV that they consider UK to be an island and Japan too!!

Wouldn't it depend on the actual definition of an island? If it is a piece of land surrounded on all sides by water, wouldn't each continent constitute as an island? In that case, I live on the North American Island of the Earth!

I live on an island with 36 miles of main highway with no connection to the mainland. Our airport is even on another island. We also have the distinction of having the only tunnel in the country that you can drive around, on top of and through. Pretty cool, huh?

Technically, no. However, sometimes I feel like I'm on my own little island, isolated from the world.
