There are many reasons why you may miss your periods including sudden increase/loss of weight, changes to medication, Increase in exercise, stress, depression etc etc. If its worrying you, you should definitely see a doc. You don't necessarily have to go to you're family doc if you don't feel comfortable speaking to them, but remember anything you tell them is strictly confidential. If you have a friend you can confide in you can always take them along for support. The doc will probably take a small blood sample which will confirm any pregnancy.
Have a look at the NHS direct website, They have a self help guide which asks you questions and you just answer yes or no! But don't rely on this as the answer, it is just a guide and you should definitely see a doc. Hope all goes well. take care.

There are many things that can cause ur period to stop .Stress , diet , etc .Go to the doctor , they'll take blood and do another test for u and they can take it from there .Unfortunatley many people on the web think they are doctors and give out medical advice (apart from those who are actually trained)which can be even more worrying than not knowing .Make an appointment and take it from there .
Good luck

you didnt say if u on the pill, coil, injection, implant but it depends as i had all the normal signs of not being pregnant(on pill, neg tests, periods etc) but still had a feeling. so i went to dr and he confirmed that i was pregnant. went to hospital for a scan 3 wks later n found out that was 12wks pregnant. never had any morning sickness etc and was size 8 with tiny bump(the like you have after a large meal) when i had my son and he was 5lb 20z.
that feeling means a lot so trust your instinct. you can go to pound shop and buy loads of tests and they are accurate from experience(pregnant now). so trust your instincts, and if you are not expecting then see another dr in your practice and find out what is going wrong.
best of luck xx

If you're getting negative pregnancy tests, then I'm pretty certain you're not pregnant. I would call the Dr. and let them know you've missed two periods and are normally regular. There could be a much bigger problem going on inside of you than pregnancy and its important to get it checked out!
Also, if you're stressed out or have changed your exercise/eating routine, those changes can all cause you to miss periods.
Its best to go get checked out! :)

There are possible causes for a delayed period that have nothing to do with pregnancy, many of which will require medical attention.
At this point I would STRONGLY recommend that you see a doctor as soon as possible and tell him/her exactly what's been going on.
Good luck!

How would we know - go to the Dr. Sometimes people have irregular periods due to stress, hormones, premature menopause. If you have taken 3 tests i would say its safe to say you are NOT pregnant.

Go to docs, they will probably send you off for a scan to see whats going on! I wouldnt worry too much, I went 4 months without a period once and then it appeared! Our bodies are a bit weird sometimes!

Maybe the medication you are on is causing your cycle to delay. Or if you are pregnant maybe you need to get a blood test done at the Dr. office
