This is not legitimate.

I enter sweepstakes all of the time. My biggest win was a trip to Hilton Head Island for four - all expenses paid. This was through a national website - Travel & Leisure magazine. There weren't any strings attached.

I have also won shorter trips - two to Montreal, four to ski in Vermont. None of these had any strings.

I think if you will read the fine print it will say something like "you are a finalist" - that doesn't mean you are a winner.

My good friend won the Dell Christmas sweepstakes (over $50,000 in prizes I think.) She did not have to pay Dell a penny.

NEVER give your credit card number, bank account, or pay for any portion of a winning. The only thing you ever have to do is pay the IRS if it is a trip or prize over a certain amount.

I would not respond to any mailings like this. Rip it up.

Best wishes!
