How has nobody else given the Prince of Darkness a vote?! Ozzy's voice is amazing to some, and appalling to others, but regardless what you think of his voice, he still puts on the best show of all time.....Is there any single lead guitarist that has had a greater influence than Ozzy?....sure Plant and Hendrix were solid, but they were all about flowers and getting laid, Ozzy was, is, and always will be all about the MUSIC. The world isn't all fun and games, and listening to Ozzy will attest to that. Think what you want, but after seeing Ozzy in concert, nobody else even comes close(and I've been to The Who, Zepp, The Doors, Kiss, Peppers, Metallica, Godsmack, Deep Purpule, Hendrix).....

Janis Joplin. She had such beautifully raw vocals that could rock any song. My favourite is Big Brother's Peice of my Heart. Maybe Janis is a little bit bluesy for you though.
