Last I saw, Martin had called the Police and they took her away, then she was home again and planning to leave walford! Thanks to Sky+ and its wonderful way of fouling up my recordings!!

I think you must of missed a lot more then a few episodes as Martin and Sonia were in Eastenders not Coronation Street. However to answer you question they got back together at the last moment when Sonia was leaving Walford for good .The family decided to leave together and start afresh elsewhere.

You didn't miss an episode - one minute she was being carted off, the next Joe's confessed to the murder, & Sonia's back home. I was puzzled about that, too.

You've got the answers from all these others, but what I'm puzzled about is if the one she married admitted to killing her with the frying pan, how come she was walking through the park carrying Christmas presents when she died?

Even i know that and i hate it. Anyway Joe (Paulines husband)came back he admitted to Dot that it was him who hit Pauline then he tried to throw her out of the window but he fell to his death and Dot told the police who then let Penguin sorry i mean Sonia go free.
