snakes have scales. and those types of snakes that have scales are the venomous ones. but there are snakes that are not scaly, their skin is fine and a little smooth, those are not venomous.
yep its true that all reptiles have scales but the non-venomous snakes' scales are not big and noticable as the venomous ones.
