If I were you I would call my doctor. It could be alot of different things. Your best bet is to talk to your ob/gyn. Congrats on the baby.

There's a reason the docs tell you not to have sex post-birth until you get the go-ahead. It takes a while for all your innards to get back up to working order.

If you're bleeding *heavily* (more than 1 pad per hour) or you are passing big clots (bigger than a baby's fist), go directly to a doctor. If you had an episiotomy, I'd call up your doc and tell them what happened, as you may have torn your incision. If you seem to be getting better, then you're probably okay, but keep off your partner until you get the go-ahead from your doc, okay? You're more inclined to get infections right now.

There is a reason you are told to wait up to 6 weeks before intercourse after birth. You've irritated your cervix which is still healing it's tissue from birth. You've most likely perforated some of your cervical tissue. All you can do is rest, allow time to heal the tissue and wait at least 4 more weeks before having sex again.

for me, i did not bleed at all the days in the hospital, but began bleeding heavily when i got home. the best advice is stay down with your feet up,this is what worked for me. you may have a condidion called endometritis, if you had a c-section.you would need to see your dr. in that case

After you have a baby you don't get your period for awhile and you have to wait. you had sex too early after you had your baby. If i were you i would go see a doctor. Be careful alright?

You are supposed to wait a month.
