Is an degree in Geography/Urban Regional Analysis Worth Pursuing?

What kinds of jobs are avaliable to someone who has a BS in Urban and Regional Analysis (Planning), with minors in Economics and Political Science... assuming that they cannot find jobs in Urban/City planning area?

You can work at a prison (head warden), tutor a rich kid, be a police office, work in IT, be an accountant or actuary (in the UK there's a lack, so they accept any degree). Be a graduate trainee at a major company like Toys R Us (they're execs don't have degrees in toys you know).

I know geography majors with interesting jobs. I wish the days when degrees weren't necessarily equal to jobs were gone.
