yes it does bother me! last year I told my family and boyfriend to get me things for my new house, like carpets and furniture etc. the monetary value of what I got was huge, but I was actually really gutted that I had nothing at all to open and I cried like a girl!and I'm 26! My mum wanted to send me little parcels to unwrap and I said no don't waste money on things I wont use and when it came to it I would rather have had empty shoe boxes in wrapping paper than the promise of a chest of drawers. I'm such a brat!!

i got 6 brother's and i never get a card of them for anythin
my ex husband never got me a card
my mother get me a card at least 5 days late and my friend always seem to forget to
BUT THEY ALL WANT ONE THEM SELVES ON TIME WITH PREZZIE
i guess i just got used to it and now if 1 of my brothers birthday wasn't the same day as mine i'd probaly never notice it was my birthday

I don't care so much about the card or presents because they're usually really lame and if I want something I just get it myself but I do want people to remember, if someone forgets, particularly if its someone who I like (not some distant relative) then I get a bit pissy, especially if I remember theirs which is probably a bit sad but its the principle

Don't let it bother you by President for your self, they are the best one's
Then the people should shan't cards , send them a thank you card for not bothering you on your birthday. that should make youfeel butter. Oh happy birthday.

No its nice to have good wishes and thoughts sent. My boyfriend hasn't bought me squat 'for the year we been together but long as i get a huggle and a kiss and his company thats enough for me.

It depends who it is, my mother in law never bothered last year, and here I am paying every month for a new car that she got 3 years ago on mothers day.........
She bought me one this year though, dunno what had come over
