First off..I would go ot Planned Parenthood..and get a blood test done to determine pregnancy..I odn't trust the take home test..I took 3 that all came out negative..and I ended up with a baby...
I would say that if she is only 1-3 weeks along, they might be able to give you the abortion pill...and if she is further along, you could get an abortion..or she could go full term and give it up for adoption. Best of luck to you. Dont listen to all those mean people..accidents happen. You are taking responsibility by realising your actions..and trying to find the best solution.

No, not in this country. The morning after pill has to be taken within 72 hours to prevent a pregnancy. If a pregnancy is established, especially far enough along for you to get a positive pregnancy test, then the pill won't work. Some countries sell an abortion pill, but in the US it's illegal and it has serious side effects for many people. Since you couldn't wear a condom, maybe you should be responsible and raise this baby. On second thought, be responsible, stick with your girlfriend throughout the pregnancy, then give the baby up for adoption so he/she has a shot at a good life, and some loving, deserving parents can have the child of their dreams.

What do you mean a pill 'we' can take . Only the pregnant person takes the pill ! LOL just kidding .
Go and take the morning after pill, it it works, great, if not what have you got to lose !Just don't sit there and do nothing .
Unfortunately if that test says positive , you are on shaky grounds .

The morning after pill only works within 72 hours of having sex, since she is already pregnant this is no longer an option. Your options are-
- have an abortion (this is not a decision to be taken lightly, although it solves the immediate problem of the unwanted pregnancy it brings with it other consequences such as guilt and regret. Please see link for online counceling http://www.mariestopes.org.uk/uk/abortion-online-couns.htm
-adoption
-Keep the baby.
Whatever you and your girlfriend decide will be a lifechanging decision, so you both need to have a long hard think and discuss what is best for you. Also see her doctor/faimly planning advisor who can discuss options further.
Good luck.

No pills at this point - the morning after pill would not be effective a week afterwards. You'll have to see a doctor if you want to terminate the pregnancy.

Maybe you should have thought about the fact of maybe becoming pregnant before you engaged in unprotected sex! The morning after pill is kinda named that for a reason, it is for if the condom broke (pretty much) and is only going to work within 72 hours of having sex. So either it is time to own up to your actions or, give the baby up for adoption or last but not least get an abortion.

"morning after " means the morning after. wait until a missed period before you start to panic there is nothing you can do if she is pregnant then she is. you have to wait to see. no pill for that. and a pregnancy test positive will not show up until after a missed period at least. If you guys had sex and a week later she tested positive than she is farther along than one damn week. make sure it is yours good luck.

A morning after pill is named appropriately -- to be taken "the morning after", not "the week after". You do have the option of an abortion.
