If a woman was only 3 weeks along she probably wouldn't even know she was pregnant yet because she wouldn't have missed a period yet. How do you know the bleeding isn't your period starting?

It depends on the woman and the pregnancy. What happened with my miscarriage may be drastically different than what may happen with someone else's.
With me, once it was determined that I was having a miscarriage, my OB monitored the progress of the miscarriage (through ultrasounds, blood tests and exams). Everything progressed naturally so no medical interventions were necessary. Some miscarriages are going to be like mine. I was 8 weeks 3 days along, but a shorter (or longer) pregnancy may also be able to complete without medical intervention.

You need to go to a doctor. Any time a woman has a miscarriage she needs medical attention. I am not sure what they would do for such a situation but I am sure they would want to monitor you to make sure everything has come out and to make sure you are not hemmorrhaging. Please go to a doctor. I wish you the best and I am sorry.

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and had no procedure. Only your doctor knows your situation and can make the right decisions for you.

If it possible that she know she miscarried she should get checked out by a Doctor. She may be at risk for an infection. If you know that your pregnant you should always call your doctor right away to monitor your pregnancy.

YES...ofcourse to prevent infection/poisoning yourself too...i got miscarriage before and i was just like other i want to ignore it and also maybe i could still save the baby...but no after two weeks that the baby is death on my stomach...its weird that i could taste something else w/ my saliva...i think i'm getting poison with the death blood on my body...so what i did even i know its about to be new year that time...
i have to do something for myself and i know my baby wont be happy if i'll die too cuz of her lost...right? so i went to the emergency and they did suction curettage or dilation and curettage to me...

It comes out ok but you still need to see a doctor as you may get an infection.

Most likely, yes. The baby isn't fully formed to require medical removal of the fetus. Your body should have no problem expelling it from you body.

Sometimes it passes on it's own, other times it takes a D&C. You should see a doctor about this.
