Yes, you can. The law really won't be able to do much about it.

If it's you that your talking about, why would you do that to your self? Sure you can get your GED, but it isn't the same as getting your diploma, a diploma is better. People would rather hire some one who has a diploma than some one with a GED. A diploma shows that your a hard worker, that your willing to go the distance to get what you want.

You'll screw up your entire life by dropping out of school. I know going to school isn't always exciting , but neither is having to work for minimum wage.

If you finish high school and then go on to college and graduate your life will be so much easier, right now you have the support of your parents so that you can do it. It's easier to pay your dues now while your young, in other words you work hard now to get your education. So that you won't be breaking your back all your life just to stay ahead of the bills.

It's easy when you live at home and your parents pay for every thing, they make it look so easy. But, believe me it isn't all ways so easy having to work every day and to pay the bills that keep coming in every month.

Right now your young (a child) and you don't have all the adult responsibilities on your shoulders, be a child as long as you can be. It's such a short part of your life and it goes away too fast, ask any one who's childhood is over. However, when you are grown up you will no longer be able to avoid adult responsibilities as they will be there in your face every day.

Please really give it a lot of though if it's you your talking about. Dont' hurt your self like that. I wish you the best in what ever you do with your life.
