My rear window in my van, which has defroster wires in it, has become quite blurry, as it if isn't attached to the glass as smoothly as it was. Anyone know how to fix this? It seems to be getting worse, so that now I can see headlights behind me at night but can't even tell if it's a semi or a Honda..... Can't afford a pro, so grateful for any hints. thanks for your time

You wouldn't happen to have tints on that window, would u? If so, you're not supposed to tint windows w/defrosters.

Noted, you can't afford a professional.. However, if your car is not under warranty you may just have to.

Have you had that window replaced or worked on in the past?

Short of having the window replaced, there isn't much you can do. Use your outside mirrors to see what's behind you in the mean time.

Id perhaps try spraying and wiping off a thin layer of WD-40. I use that on my bathroom mirror and doors, and they never fog over or get water spots...

Try taking a credit card and scraping the ice off.
or gift card.
