When you want an estimation, you don't want an exact answer. You round your numbers and then perform the indicated operation. To estimate 29% of 60, you round 29% to 30% and find 30% of 60 which is 18. The same for 78% of 20. Round 78% to 80% and find 80% of 20 which is 16. Only one person gave her the correct answer.........read the question first......

60 / 100 than multiply with 29 about 17,4
20 / 100 than mply with 78 the result 15,6

mulitply the bigger number by the percent. (%)
1. 60 X .29 = your answer
2. 20 x .78 = your answer
