I know that sims get pregnant and go into labor but what happens during labor, anyway? do they go to the hospital?

Nope, they do not go to the hospital. After 3 "sim days" of your sim being pregnant, they will go into labor and just howl and scream in pain. Then, there will be a pop up on your screen saying something about the stork untying its bearings and stuff. Then, there will be a little movie of your sim giving birth (it just shows your sim's plumbob producing a smaller plumbob) and there will be a baby in your sim's arms. then you have to name it. =]

No they don't go to the hospital. During the making of the game, there was a point where when a sim went into labor an ambulance came, your sim went in and came out with a baby. But in the final version the sim held their stomach and howled in pain as other sims around her would freak out, either by jumping up shocked or doing deep breathing . If you have special events camera a little cut scene where the mother's plumbob (Little green diamond above the sims head) spawns a small one that's going to be the baby's.

I don't know. Do you have the PC game or the PS2 or other kind of game sytem type? I have the sims 2 but i have yet to make it to another place. Im still at that one house with Timothy {Seeing as your in a diff place or country you may have diff character names but i doubt it} But yeah im living with four people and I've stopped playing for sometime. I did have the sims {The regular one} and when someone got pregnant a baby in a cradle just popped up.

no they don't go into labor after 3 days they have the baby and the sims in the house rush to the pregnant sim to watch the birth you don't see anything but then a sign pops up the stork is untieing those extra tight knots then a baby drops into the sims arms and if you have twins after the first baby drops down the second baby drops into another sims arms then you can name them

No they don't go to the hospital. After 3 or 4 Sim days your Sim will go into labor wherever they are standing. (They can even have one in the shower). It's not graphic unfortunately and they can have twins or one child, it is all random.

No. They hold their stomachs and howl. Then the game asks you to hold while the new baby or twins are born, then they spin around and a baby is born. This happens where ever they happen to be in the house. If they are in bed. They simply just get out of bed and go on with the proceedure.
