Feel vibations and the rev counter is below 1500 rpm any help?
you can use it fine in manual mode ie 1234 but when you slow down the car seems to not drop the gears

I think you mean too HIGH a gear.

Any car with a large engine with lots of torque will happily cruise very economically at 1500 rpm. If it's not in a low enough gear you should feel it change down and see the rpm jump up if you accelerate fairly hard.

Too high a gear...... If the car isn't changing down (although 1500 RPM isn't that low?) then the box isn't responding to the change in torque. You'll need to take it in I'm afraid its one of those things that isn't really a `homer`. Auto gearboxes are very complex, not to be messed with without the correct knowledge/equipment.
