I am trying to draw a pattern onto felt before cutting them out but I don't want to leave permanent lines on the felt like if I used a marker. Can someone give me some tips? Thanks

I just pin the pattern to the felt (sort of like if you were sewing) then when you cut the pattern out the felt will stay in place and there will be no lines from any chalk or markers

Use a sliver of soap as your marking tool.
OR
When you use a marker cut just inside the lines and the marks won't be there.

Depending on the color of the felt, you could use an air soluble marker. For darker colors there is a soapstone marker. They sell them at walmart, joanns, or any place that sells sewing or quilting supplies.

Use chalk. Lightly. It'll brush off.
