My wife and I our expecting our first baby in July. We both like the name Elliot for a girl, but we weren't sure if it was too masculine. Opinions?

Also, what do you think of the names Brody, Maysie, Delaney and Quinn (for a girl)?

I love boy names for girls. My name is Tommi and I feel it makes me unique.

I love all the names you have chosen. They are all beautiful. When my parents were expecting me, they had a few names picked out also. They named me when they saw me for the first time. They said that I was definitely a "Sara". When you see your beautiful baby girl you will know if she is a Brody, Maysie, Delaney, Quinn or your favorite Elliot. You will just know.

Congrats to you both.

Elliot is to masculine. I think that Delaney is a really pretty name for a girl and Quinn is good too. Brody reminds me of Adam Brody and that sounds like a guys name. Maysie is cute but the spelling is weird. good luck! and congrats

Elliot is a boy's name. But these days no-one seems to care about that, so I'm sure your daughter will be in good company.

Brody and Delaney are surnames. Again, every man and his dog is naming their child with a surname so no worries there. Maysie is a lovely girl's name but why not spell it Maisie, the old fashioned way?

Quinn, that's a boy's name. Sorry. Do you know the song, "The Mighty Quinn"?

I like Elliot for a girl, you can shorten it to Ellie while she's little and when she becomes an adult, Elliot sounds mature. Also, I like the name Delaney. Brody is mannish and so is Quinn. And Maysie sounds like corn, sorry.

I prefer Elliot for a boy, but Ella Quinn or Ella Maysie is adorable!

Since I went to school with a boy whose first name was Elliot, I think of it as a boys name. I do like the names Delaney and Quinn. Maybe use Elliot as a middle name if you want to use it. ... Quinn Elliot. :)

I like Elliot for a girl - the blonde female doctor on "Scrubs" is named Elliot. I think it has a nice ring to it for a girl.

Out of the others - personally I like Delaney and Quinn - the others are nice as well, but for some reason those two stand out to me :P

Congratulations first off. And secondly, have you ever watched the show, 'Scrubs'? The blonde 'female' doctor on there is named Elliot. I think it's kind of a fun, interesting name. Her friends can call her Eli(lie).

I LOVE Quinn!!!! The other names, not so good.
