They ask questions about why can't republicans debate without personal attacks but they don't seem to see all the personal attacks on Bush and republicans.

So you never see personal attacks on Limbaugh, Hannitty, Coulter, Atwater, Rove, O'Reilly, Savage, etc.?

Hypocrites by definition can't recognize their own hypocrisy. Personal attacks are used by both sides but are the primary tool used on the right by Limbaugh, Hannitty, Coulter, Atwater, Rove, O'Reilly, Savage, etc. and their dittohead followers to much greater degree than by liberals.

Well, if personal attacks are valid and relevant, then they're OK.
Here's some examples of Republican hipocrisy:
1. Cheney is publically anti-gay marriage and anti-homosexuality, but he privately supports his daughter, a lesbian who is expecting a baby with her partner
2. Former senator Mark Foley was in charge of finding online predators of children. Apparently he was one himself ("horny" instant message conversations with 16 year old male Congressional pages)
3. Bush praising Rumsfield before the 2006 elections, but sacking him later within days.
Then there are some lovely quotes, like describing the internet as a "series of tubes" or welcoming an American to "the real America." Now, they're trying to make a deal about Obama's name. Seriously, find better dirt, or fix Iraq.

Some liberals are hypocrites. Some Republicans are hypocrites. The smart thing to do is to recognize that an attack on one (such as Bush) isn't necessarily an attack on all (ALL Republicans) unless the asker says so.

I agree with you. The problem is both parties do the same thing. For example i have heard conservatives say that Nancy Pelosi is godless. Not true! She is a devoted Roman Catholic who attends church regularly. She is a moron though and no one ever throws that out there!
Liberals claim we only want to give more money to the rich with tax breaks! That I believe is true, but only because poor people and the middle class don't tend to create jobs or invest in businesses that do. The rich do that.

All politicians are the same. Working for the lobbyist and corporations that have their hands in their pockets. The complain about what the other side is doing while doing the same thing and your average Americans get screwed.

Touche. But you'll get some out of every group, that resort more to insults and attacks than actual discussion.

I don't view verbally attacking Bush as a personal attack against you or anyone else. Unless you love Bush that much that you take truths about him personally.
